The Lone Peak 9+ is Altra's best-selling trail shoe, built on the brand's original zero-drop, wide-toe-box last that's become a go-to for trail runners and hikers alike. A low, 25mm Altra EGO midsole keeps the ride grounded and stable, while a Vibram Megagrip outsole — a first for the Lone Peak line — brings a serious grip upgrade over previous versions. A recycled ripstop mesh upper and a rubber toe cap add durability and protection, with a GaiterTrap tab at the heel for attaching gaiters on dusty or wet trails. Best for zero-drop loyalists who want a light, grounded, do-anything trail shoe for running, hiking, or both.
