Brooks Adrenaline gts 25
First Look
Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25, the latest iteration of Brooks long-running stability trainer that’s aimed squarely at daily runners and anyone wanting dependable support. This rendered addition is a fun-looking update to a trusted model in the Brooks lineup. The Adrenaline GTS 25 doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it does refine what made the line a go-to for over 25 years: a stable, comfortable ride with a few thoughtful upgrades.
Out of the box, the fit feels more luxurious, following the glycerin fit and shape, Brooks more premium model. The updated engineered mesh upper feels breathable and secure, hugging the midfoot without being tight and offering a roomier toe box that many runners will appreciate on recovery or everyday runs. A padded ankle collar enhances fit and comfort, enhancing the overall premium feel and fit of the model.
The ride feels noticeably softer than the previous generation, thanks to extra nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 cushioning, which features approximately 3 mm more foam in the forefoot and 1 mm more in the heel, providing smoother transitions and added protection on longer runs. The heel-to-toe drop has been slightly reduced to 10 mm, providing a more balanced feel underfoot without compromising support. The signature GuideRails have had a makeover, moulding into the foam. This change aims to create a more gentle guide for the foot, without feeling restrictive, and make the GTS 25 a relaxed yet confidence-inspiring trainer for mild overpronators and those prioritizing comfort over race-pace performance.

Overall, this is a subtle but satisfying evolution of a classic, slightly plusher underfoot and a touch more modern in fit and feel, while staying loyal to the dependable stability and everyday versatility that runners love. It’s not the lightest or most energetic shoe on the market, but for daily miles and long, easy runs, it feels like a trustworthy companion right from the first step.
