First look
Saucony has truly elevated the running experience from its predecessor with the new Hurricane 24. At the heart of its design is a dual-cushioning system that expertly blends plush, energy-returning PWRRUN PB foam with a robust PWRRUN foam frame. This combination not only enhances comfort but also provides a remarkable level of responsiveness that runners will appreciate during both short runs and longer distances.
The standout feature of the Hurricane 24 is undoubtedly its new-era geometry, coupled with CenterPath Technology. This thoughtful design ensures optimal protection and smooth transitions, in theory allowing for a more fluid stride regardless of your pace. It’s as if the shoe is tailored to support the natural motion of your foot, making each step feel effortless.
One step in these shoes, and you’re enveloped in a world of comfort. The cushioning feels plush yet supportive, making it ideal for daily training sessions or longer outings. Hurricane 24 doesn’t just promise comfort; it delivers a whole new level of it.
The lockdown fit is one of the better lockdowns I've worn. No loose materials and hugs the foot nicely all over. It’s a great improvement on the previous model and follows similar traits to the Saucony Tempus which is one of my favourite shoes ever made.
In summary, the Saucony Hurricane 24 is a great addition to the world of max cushioning. With its innovative features and focus on comfort, it's a shoe that will surely appeal to those looking to elevate their running game.
