IN-STORE PURCHASES
Technically Fitted Footwear
Technically fitted footwear is a purchase where you have consulted with our staff, tried on shoes, and purchased according to our recommendations. We back our staff's knowledge, so if you take the shoe home and it is not right for you, please bring it back into the store, within 30 days, to consult with staff and find another solution.
Other Items
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, a retailer doesn't have to provide a refund or exchange if:
- you change your mind
- your circumstances change
- you find cheaper products elsewhere.
For non-technically fitted items, we are happy to exchange wrong sizes, or swap for another product, if the item is still in original saleable condition. For any unwanted purchases, we are happy to issue a Frontrunner Colombo in-store credit or online credit. This must be done within 30 days of purchase.
ONLINE PURCHASES
If you have received an item that does not meet your needs or that you no longer require, please email colombo@thefrontrunner.co.nz to begin a returns process.
To return an item to the Frontrunner Colombo:

The item must be in its original unused condition, complete with its original packaging.
- The item must be accompanied by a proof of purchase, either the packing slip or receipt.
- Must be within 30 days of purchase.

Frontrunner Colombo does not offer full refunds for any unwanted or change-of-mind purchases.
- Frontrunner Colombo does not offer refunds on sale items.
To return the item via post to the Frontrunner Colombo, in addition to the Online Purchases terms above:
- If the purchase is a size swap or product exchange you post the item back to us at your cost but Frontrunner Colombo will pay for the return postage cost in this case for full-priced items, for any sale items the postage both ways is the responsibility of the customer. Sale exchanges require a $15 shipping payment to Frontrunner Colombo, this will cover shipping back to us, and the correct product sent to you.
- If you have been sent the incorrect product from your packing slip then we will carry the cost of the package being returned to us and the return cost.
FAULTY ITEMS
If you have purchased a product from Frontrunner Colombo that you believe is faulty, or not wearing as expected, you must inform Frontrunner Colombo as soon as you become aware of the fault. Please do so by sending information, pictures and proof of purchase to colombo@thefrontrunner.co.nz. If you continue to use the item after noticing a fault or try to repair, fix, or alter the item before contacting us the warranty is at risk of being void.
All faulty items must be returned to Frontrunner Colombo to be assessed by staff in the first instance, there are occasions where wear can be repaired to restore the longevity of the product.
If the item is considered faulty, it may be sent to a supplier for assessment before an exchange, replacement, or store credit is offered, this process can take up to 14 working days and will be accessed by that brand's expert in that field.
In accordance with the CGA, we will maintain efficient communication with the customer during this process and offer available solutions for the customer to choose from ensuring all parties are satisfied.
RETURN EXCEPTIONS
Unfortunately, due to their nature, we cannot accept returns of the following items:
- Vouchers
- Swimwear
- Compression garments
- Undergarments
