The HOKA Cielo X 2 LD provides elite track athletes with a race day option ideal for events in the 3K to 10K range. This incredibly lightweight spike delivers a more responsive and snappier ride than its predecessor thanks to the carbon fiber plate in the midsole, the Pebax spike plate in the forefoot, and extra stack height of HOKA's latest highly responsive supercritical foam. With a low-profile cushioning placement that keeps the foot closer to the ground and the utilization of a more responsive foam, athletes will experience a highly efficient push-off as they chase their personal bests. Maintaining top speeds when rounding the track will be a breeze thanks to the secure and comfortable fit provided by the lace-knit upper and the early stage Meta-Rocker design in the midsole that propels the legs forward. Overall, the Cielo X 2 is light, fast, cushioned, and ready to help athletes unlock their true potential on race day.

Pronation

Pronation is a natural and important motion the foot makes to absorb the shock of hitting the ground. Some people have more movement than others. To much movement relative to the individual could result in the overloading of stabilizing tendons, ligaments and muscles around the ankle, knee or hip . Some shoes can work with your foot to slow down the movement, reduce the angle of the movement and help your body to move in a more controlled way.
